50th Reunion - June 6-9

"Cruise Home to Lehigh" for our 50' Reunion, June 6-9, 2002. The second issue of Entre Nous, our 501th Reunion newsletter, has been written and should arrive in early 2002.  Make plans now to attend our 50th, in June.  So far (in late 2001) 43 of our classmates have indicated they will return and 10 have said "maybe."  Sign up now and make our 50th the best ever!

Game day for the Lehigh-Lafayette game in November was gorgeous in Arizona where Daz and I viewed the game on the big screen.  My Bethlehem "agent," Bill Smith, tells me that Goodman Stadium was sunny and ready for an undefeated season - which the loyal Engineer / Mountain Hawk fans achieved in spades - 41-6 over a game, but hapless, Leopard squad.  Imagine, three undefeated seasons in the last four years (only one loss in the regular season in that span) and an overall record of 44-4, counting playoff games.  Add the fact that we graduate student-athletes at a higher percentage rate (94 percent) than any other university in the country, and we indeed have the Golden Age of Lehigh on all fronts.  Congratulations to faculty, administrators and coaches.
