Get the most from selected Scriptures using BibleGateway.com

Before reading these instructions, please understand there are TWO starting pages: Basic (free) lets you use it as a comprehensive Bible tool.  The second is an offer to become a Plus User at $4.17 per month - the Plus version is not required to use with this website.  Scroll down until you see the offer of FREE access to BibleGateway.  Unfortunately they require your email address but in over 10 years of using this excellent software we have not been bothered with spam originating from them.

How to use this program:

Copy Scripture chapter and verse only to clipboard using Ctrl C
Don't include translation, i.e., NIV.  You will confuse the program

Click Scripture Link

Paste Scripture from clipboard using Ctrl V where it says, "Enter passage...."
Unfortunately BibleGateway is a very popular source of Bible information and may have a "Wait" time

Enter Translation desired using dropdown menu for list of translations available
Default is NIV or last translation your computer used

Click on magnifier icon to proceed

To return to Devotionals, click on Back arrow.

Note: on most computers the BibleGateway window will be in addition to your Devotionals screen - in this case, close the BibleGateway window when finished.  If you don't, you will end up with beaucoup BibleGateway windows open.

BibleGateway is not affiliated with any particular church or denomination, but its content and development are guided by Christian principles.

Accessing BibleGateway will open a new window each time you click on the highlighted link.  When done, click on "Back" to return, use red, upper right "Close" icon or click on tab to return.   Remember, if you repeat opening BibleGateway a NEW window will appear each time - you may end up with a whole bunch of inactive windows!

We suggest you spend some time exploring BibleGateway as it
offers many interesting methods of learning more about scriptures.
