Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:14 (NIV) – “Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you – guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.”

Message: The times we currently live in with the COVID-19 virus seem all too new to us. The Bible writes of many events where many people have become ill or died of illnesses. Most of us have never seen events like this before.

We can have comfort in knowing the Holy Spirit is here and in us! Whether we are at home, or out for a walk, He is in us.

I first became aware of the Holy Spirit when I was fifteen years old. I was involved in a horrid accident. The Holy Spirit was within me when I didn't have the ability to ask for help or support. He carried me when I couldn't walk. He gave me joy and gratefulness to have my mind unharmed when it could have been taken from me. I never said, “Why me?” I accepted the Holy Spirit's strength and all‑knowing of things I had never experienced, or seen before.

Prayer: I pray for the Holy Spirit to give you comfort from within during these times and always, forever. Amen.
