Hello!
We’re glad you came to visit, and glad
you’re reading this because it may just give you a head start in
understanding who we are.
We are a FRIENDS church,
traditionally called QUAKERS, but mostly we are a CHRISTIAN
church.
From its humble beginnings as a home
group in 1958, to a two-acre church facility across from a city park and
wildlife museum, Walnut Creek Friends Church has remained a safe place
for any looking to experience what a simple Christian church looks and
feels like. That’s right! We want you to know you’re welcome here.
Sometimes people feel they need a special invitation to come to a Quaker
church. Let’s clear that up right now – you don’t! Whether you’re
simply investigating the Christian faith or a long-time believer, you
are welcome to come, listen, learn, and grow with us.
Our main worship service begins Sunday
mornings at 10:00 a.m. We also have classes for children, junior high
youth, and a youth group that meets every other week. Adult and young
adult small groups meet during the week, including a men’s and women’s
study group.
Okay, now that we’ve made you feel
welcome, maybe you have more questions?
Some of the things we do
may be familiar to you; others things may be new.

believe, find out more here.
