Every effective organization is guided by a few simple statements that serve to focus thoughts, energies and resources toward a desired goal. That goal is the organization’s vision statement.  Mission and strategy statements describe how to get to that goal.  The statements below guide the ministry of Walnut Creek Friends.

• Through God’s love, we are becoming people who love God and love others like Jesus does.

• To give the people around us the best opportunity to see and hear Jesus clearly, fully and accurately.

• To give every person of all ages in our church the best opportunity to become transformed into the character and image of Jesus Christ.

• Practice the Four Elements of Life Transformation so that we can become more like Jesus
• Build relationships with people and meet their real needs
• Establish effective small groups to facilitate personal encounters with Jesus

• Utilize the tradition of Sunday morning meetings for worship to encourage pursuing Jesus

• Help people discover how God wants them to join Him in His work
