Bob Woeber has nailed down South Hills Country Club for August 24th, 2013 (Saturday) and Bud Stevenson is going to reserve the front room at Peter's Place like we had for the 60th reunion.

Latest news about 65th Reunion plans from Bob Woeber, "I spoke with Bud Stevenson this evening.  The idea of a joint reunion with the class of 47 didn't fly.  We think that we should start organizing our 65th next year.  I will get us a reservation at South Hills Country Club for late August in 2013 on a Saturday.

From October 8th, 2011:  Right now, I assume that we will have a 65th reunion, but whether we will have it alone or with the class of '47 is still up in the air.  Bud Stevenson has been talking with Jerry Scherer (Nancy Eckenrode's husband), but I haven't heard anything yet.  Bud and I and Bob feel strongly that we should continue to use South Hills Country Club, but apparently some of the '47ers like St Clair.  I feel that St Clair Country Club is too pricey and we have had very good luck with South Hills.

Saturday Afternoon, August 24, 2013 -  Possibilities:
  •  Wheelchair / Walker Race - Thirty five foot race, start to finish.  If you aren't using a wheelchair or walker you will be handicapped by being forced to carry Bob Woeber on your back.
  •  Demolition Derby  - If you can still drive you are eligible to enter this event at a local WalMart parking lot.  You will be required to negotiate thru a maze of non-licensed Classmates.   Winner will be Classmate that can run over Bob Woeber the most times.

  • Boat Race - Ray Mangold and Bob Woeber will each have a kayak of their own in the country club pool.  The other Classmates will cheer their favorite champions on to victory.  Winner will be decided as unfairly as possible.

  • Picnic in the Park - Assemble in Mt Lebanon Park for a picnic lunch.  Bill Stanley and Bill Erdman promise to be on time.

Saturday Night, August 24, 2013 - 65th Reunion

South Hills Country Club

Yogurt at 6:30 PM and dinner at or about 8:00 PM

You will have a choice of 3 Entrees:

  •  Soup and soft, crust-less bread with a soft spread
  •  Pablum, yogurt and cottage cheese salad with a thin dressing
  •  Oatmeal, gruel and crust-less cheesecake

Make check payable to Mt Lebanon Class of '48 Reunion and hold on to it
