Scriptures: Romans 5:8-9 (NLV) – “But God showed His love to us. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  Now that we have been saved from the punishment of sin by the blood of Christ, He will save us from God’s anger also.”

John 3:16-17 (NIV) – “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”

Message: Building on The Great Commission, the Apostle Paul stands as the leading authority on addressing humanity’s flawed nature, the reality of sin, and the journey toward reconciling with God.  His letter to the early church in Rome offers deeper insights that go beyond what’s found in all the Gospels.  Throughout the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, spiritual death and humanity’s separation from God are addressed, but Paul describes God as a loving Father who offers forgiveness and eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.  He explains how sin came into existence, contrasts law with grace and discusses the sufficiency of Jesus’ sacrifice for redeeming sins, highlighting the transformative power of salvation through faith in Jesus.

If "SIN" causes all our problems, what led us to this point?

Romans 3:23 (NKJV) “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”

Romans 5:12 (NLT) “When Adam sinned, sin entered the world.  Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.”

How is CHRIST “THE CURE”?

Romans 5:8-9 (NLV) “But God showed His love to us. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  Now that we have been saved from the punishment of sin by the blood of Christ, He will save us from God’s anger also.”

Romans 6:23 (NLT) “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord”.

This Epistle emphasizes that “Christ is the cure,” and encourages us to share that God’s solution for restoring our relationship is through Jesus Christ.  Only through Him can we find forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and eternal life.  Today, I urge us to leave our comfort zone and try something new and inventive, much like the pick-up truck driver did.   Don't let fear stop us from talking about Jesus and find creative ways to share the gospel.

Prayer: Father God, grant us courage to affirm our faith in Jesus as the way, the truth, and the life wherever we go.  Amen!

Versículos: Romanos 5:8-9 (RVC) “Pero Dios muestra su amor por nosotros en que, cuando aún éramos pecadores, Cristo murió por nosotros.  Con mucha más razón, ahora que ya hemos sido justificados en su sangre, seremos salvados del castigo por medio de él.”

Juan 3:16-17 (RVC) “Porque de tal manera amó Dios al mundo, que ha dado a su Hijo unigénito, para que todo aquel que en él cree no se pierda, sino que tenga vida eterna.  Porque Dios no envió a su Hijo al mundo para condenar al mundo, sino para que el mundo sea salvo por él.”

Mensaje: Expandiendo sobre la Gran Comisión, el apóstol Pablo se destaca como autoridad y máximo exponente de la imperfección humana, la realidad del pecado y el camino hacia la reconciliación con Dios.  Su carta a la iglesia primitiva de Roma ofrece perspectivas profundas más allá de lo que hallamos en los Evangelios.  A través de la Biblia, tanto el Antiguo como el Nuevo Testamento, presentan la muerte espiritual, y la separación entre Dios y la humanidad.  Pero Pablo describe a Dios como Padre amoroso que ofrece perdón y vida eterna por medio de la fe en Jesucristo.  Explica cómo surgió el pecado, la diferencia entre la ley y la gracia, y demuestra la suficiencia del sacrificio de Jesús para redimir pecados, destacando el poder transformador de la salvación por la fe.

Si el "PECADO" es la causa de nuestros problemas, ¿Cómo llegamos aquí?

Romanos 3:23 (RVC) “por cuanto todos pecaron y están destituidos de la gloria de Dios;”

Romans 5:12 (RVC) “Por tanto, como el pecado entró en el mundo por un solo hombre, y por medio del pecado entró la muerte, así la muerte pasó a todos los hombres, por cuanto todos pecaron.”

¿Como CRISTO” ES LA CURA”?

Romanos 5:8-9 (RVC) “Pero Dios muestra su amor por nosotros en que, cuando aún éramos pecadores, Cristo murió por nosotros.  Con mucha más razón, ahora que ya hemos sido justificados en su sangre, seremos salvados del castigo por medio de él.”

Romanos 6:23 (RVC) “Porque la paga del pecado es muerte, pero la dádiva de Dios es vida eterna en Cristo Jesús, nuestro Señor.”

La epístola resalta “Cristo es la solución”, alentándonos a compartir el remedio para restaurar nuestra relación con Dios.  Solo a través de Jesucristo podemos encontrar perdón, reconciliación y vida eterna.  Hoy, los animo a dejar su comodidad, a intentar algo novedoso, igual que el chofer de la camioneta.  No permitan que el miedo les impida buscar maneras creativas para hablar de Jesús y compartir el evangelio.
