Thanks To The Following for Our Lenten Gatherings:

Thanks to he Speakers who stepped out of their comfort zone and provided us with messages focused on seven characters Jesus encountered on the Road to the Cross.  These brave individuals used a publication written by a United Methodist minister, Robert Martin Walker, as a guide for their presentations.

Pastors Emily, John and Barbara for conducting the imposition of the ashes, Ash Wednesday.  And for their support in continuing the tradition of the Lenten Luncheons / Gatherings - now in their fifty-fourth (54) year.

The two neighborhood restaurants for their food donations for the first six Gathering lunches and the UWF for the Seder meal.

The luncheon table setups, beverages and cleanup are blessings given to us by Mel Frey, Camille Piering and Sheryl Moore and other volunteers.

This is a private website that is a collection of 2026 Lenten devotionals published by Asbury United Methodist Church. 

In a 2018 church meeting, the design and hosting of the 2018 Advent devotions website was accepted on a no cost basis to the church.  Since then, yearly Advent and Lent devotionals plus "Connection" and related websites have been made available in the same spirit.

  The church is free to reference this website at their discretion.  The WebMaster is sensitive to the wishes of the church and will continue to host them in a proper and timely manner.
