Thanks To The Following for Our Lenten Devotionals:

Asbury Office Staff: Cyndi Johnson, Carol Minish, Sue Staehler, and Audrie Weissman, for dedication and patience in understanding the intricacies of preparation and printing, which they have undertaken with smiles and great humor, especially when the editor is in a focused and demanding mode!

My fellow members of the Editorial Committee, Teresa Cunningham, Jim Esch, Ann Gile and Dennis Stevenson for the hours they committed to editing devotionals which reduced my workload enormously.

Bill Erdman for his painstaking dedication and time spent developing and managing the Asbury Advent, Lent and the collection of all the devotionals.

The Contributors, who searched their hearts and minds, prayed a lot, thought a lot and then were willing to leave their comfort zone, write and submit their devotionals.  They were God's hands as they responded to the Holy Spirit and committed to better know the love of Jesus Christ and pass it on!  Asbury’s friends include: John Berry (Georgianna Church, Merritt Island, Florida); David Brown (St. Lukes United Methodist Church, Orlando, Florida); Rebecca Carpenter (Northland Church, Longwood, Florida); Mike Evans (Midsomer Norton Methodist Church, United Kingdom); Ann Gile (Sunnyside Chapel, Sarasota, Florida);  Pastor Will Kendust (Tuskawilla United Methodist Church, Casselberry, Florida); Danielle Martin (Northside Presbyterian Church, Melbourne, Florida); Doug Miller (Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Hendersonville, North Carolina); Barbara Moss (College Heights United Methodist Church, Lakeland, Florida; Marti Pieper (Seneca Baptist Church, Seneca, South Carolina); Amy Recktenwald (Life Church Huntsville, Huntsville, Alabama); Danielle Roberts (Faith Community Church, Hudson, Wisconsin); Mary Schilling (Grace Bible Church, Sebring, Florida);

The Readers who are blessed to read, meditate, share, commit their love and pray for themselves and others during this Lenten Season.

Pastors Emily, John and Barbara for trusting God and for their guidance and support in continuing this worthy Asbury tradition.

Tom Moore and his team of Speakers for their faithful commitment in bringing this year's inspirational Lenten Gatherings with talks based on the theme “Jesus’ Encounters on the Road as we prepare our hearts in the Lenten season for Easter.

Finally, we thank God for His goodness and blessing.

Website is not an official outreach of Asbury United Methodist Church.
This is a private website that is a collection of 2026 Lenten devotionals published by Asbury United Methodist Church

In a 2018 church meeting, the design and hosting of the 2018 Advent devotions website was accepted on a no cost basis to the church.  Since then, yearly Advent and Lent devotionals plus "Connection" and related websites have been made available in the same spirit.

  The church is free to reference this website at their discretion.  The WebMaster is sensitive to the wishes of the church and will continue to host them in a proper and timely manner.
